Our client is one of the best liked firms in the City with a long standing London presence. They have positioned themselves well over the last few years, with strong financials, growing teams and real career potential. They are an excellent option for someone looking to join a forward thinking, dynamic, modern City law firm.
The team covers technology, Intellectual Property, Data Protection and Internet law. Examples of recent work have included: major acquisitions and disposals of large companies and setting up and providing ongoing advice to a wide range of technology and media clients. On the IP side, work has included trade marks, passing off, copyright, database rights, design rights, licensing, distribution agreements and franchising. You will be encouraged to work with all of the partners and as such will have access to a really broad spectrum of IP and IP related work. Sector exposure will include the likes of magazine publishers, software companies and galleries.
You will have experience of the areas described above and come from a well-regarded City or regional firm. You will be UK qualified, currently be in permanent UK employment and have strong academics (minimum 2:1 from a good University and As and Bs at A-Level or equivalent).
Commercial TMT 5+ Technology & Media Focus, Leading Mid Sized City

An exciting opportunity has arisen with this ever growing, highly regarded mid City firm. With a long standing presence in the City, they have an impressive technology sector team that has many household named clients.
The team which is made up of 20 lawyers is seeking a mid level to senior associate to join them to get involved with a variety of technology, media and telecommunications work. The focus will be on major national clients and you will get the opportunity to advise major technology buyers on a variety of commercial agreements including outsourcing, e-commerce, m-commerce, data privacy and exploitation and enforcement of intellectual property.
You will have experience of the areas described above and come from a well-regarded City or regional firm. You will be UK qualified, currently be in permanent UK employment and have strong academics (minimum 2:1 from a good University and As and Bs at A-Level or equivalent).
